NINVAST

National Institute of Vacuum Science & Technology (NINVAST) is a unique institute, first of its kind in Pakistan. Its main focus on education, training, research and development in the field of Vacuum Science & Technology (VST) and allied areas. It organizes various training programs like seminars, symposium, courses, workshops, for vacuum users and offers VST courses for under & post graduate levels at universities/colleges.

To strive for the excellence in the field of vacuum science and technology for socio-economic uplift of the society by contributing towards industrial and research sectors of Pakistan.

AIMS

NINVAST aims at creating an organization operating as per international norms of productivity and originality, for acquisition, generation, transmission, dissemination and application of knowledge in the vacuum science and technology and its applied fields.

OBJECTIVES

• To develop a competent vacuum technological manpower of international level.
• To provide a direly needed research and development support to key national organizations and industries through provision of trained manpower and advisory services.
• Development of new systems and equipments for R & D and industry support programs

MANDATE

• To carry out research work in the field of vacuum and allied sciences.
• To provide technological support in the form of trained human resource through education and
short training courses
• To provide consultancy services such as design & development, repair & maintenance, leak
testing and calibration of vacuum gauges
• To develop vacuum equipment and accessories.
